Hello dear reader, my name is Patrik and I am a geologist with an avid love for travel and adventure.
I was born in Romania, and moved to Denmark in search of a new home during my mid 20’s. My studies and my desire to constantly explore new places have taken me across many countries in Europe. The winds of opportunity have since brought me across the Atlantic to Canada, where I currently live and work.
My main drive over the past 15 years, or so has been my never ending quest to find my home in this world, wherever that may be. Throughout my travels there were many places I dreamt of and aspired to move, or settle in. Yet each time something would end up changing my course and throwing me back into the unknown. In time I learned to embrace this and just go with the flow as it were.
I’ve started this blog with the idea to share my past, present and future travel adventures throughout different countries, across land and sea, from sandy beaches, to snowy mountains and bustling cities to quiet, remote rural regions. By sharing my experiences, I hope to to help motivate other travel enthusiasts to follow their dreams and go out there and explore this wonderfully rich and diverse world we live in.
